A warm hotel lobby with wood detailing, soft lighting and a front desk

Hotels, lodges & hospitality

A guest complaining about Wi-Fi at the front desk shouldn’t turn into your IT problem for the rest of the night.

We plan hospitality networks floor by floor, wing by wing — not from the lobby outward.

Every room covered. Guests, staff, payments, and cameras on separate networks that can’t see each other. Housekeeping access you can change in seconds instead of re-keying a building.

Planned floor by floor

Coverage designed per room and per wing, so no guest gets the leftover signal.

Five separate networks

Guests, staff, payments, cameras, and building systems each stay in their own lane.

Staged around occupancy

Work runs wing by wing so occupied rooms stay online throughout.

Who we work with

Alaska hospitality businesses already trust us with guest-facing systems.

Guest Wi-Fi, phones, and cameras where a complaint becomes your evening. We’re actively expanding our lodging work — and happy to introduce you to the hospitality clients we already look after.

Sounds familiar?

What GMs and owners tell us about their properties.

Hospitality problems repeat across properties — and so do the fixes.

  • “A guest says our Wi-Fi is “basically unusable” in room 214.”

Every room gets its own access point, so guest Wi-Fi is fast and reliable floor to floor — not one router trying to cover the whole building.

  • “Housekeeping staff turn over constantly and I lose track of who has a master key.”

Digital access control lets you add or remove staff access in seconds, and shows exactly which door was opened and when.

  • “I worry a guest on our Wi-Fi could somehow see our front-desk system.”

Guest Wi-Fi, staff systems, and payment systems are built as separate networks that can't see each other — a guest's device has no path to your booking or payment system.

  • “We had cameras, but nobody could find the footage when it actually mattered.”

Camera footage is organized and searchable by time and location, so if something happens, you can find it in minutes, not hours.

The room-214 problem

One router can’t cover a four-story building. It never could.

Guest Wi-Fi complaints are almost always a coverage and design problem. We put an access point where the guest actually is, and keep guest traffic on a network that has no route to your booking or payment systems.

  • An access point per room where the property calls for it
  • Guest, staff, payment, camera, and building systems on separate networks
  • In-room TVs, phones, and access points wired to last
  • Detached annexes and pool houses linked without trenching the property

Staff turnover

Access that changes as fast as your roster does.

Housekeeping and seasonal staff turn over constantly. Digital access means adding or removing someone takes seconds, and every door event is logged — so a dispute has an answer instead of a theory.

  • Add or revoke staff access instantly, from anywhere
  • A record of which door opened, when, and by whom
  • Camera footage searchable by time and location in minutes

Everything we do — all 19 services

Everything we do, written for a hotel or lodge.

The complete list — framed for a property with guests, staff, and payment systems all under one roof.

  • 01 Network design & installation

A network built floor by floor, so every wing gets covered — not just the lobby.

  • 02 Business-grade Wi-Fi

Guests get fast Wi-Fi in every room, cutting down on front-desk complaints and bad reviews.

  • 03 Wireless building-to-building links

Connect a detached building — an annex, a pool house, a conference building — without trenching cable across the property.

  • 04 Network segmentation & firewall

Guest devices, staff computers, payment systems, and cameras each stay on their own network, so a compromised guest laptop can't reach your booking system.

  • 05 Business phone systems (VoIP)

Front desk, housekeeping, and reservations all run on one connected phone system instead of separate lines that don't talk to each other.

  • 06 Security cameras & video

Find footage by time and location in minutes when a guest disputes a charge or reports an incident.

  • 07 Door access control

Give housekeeping and staff access that updates instantly — no re-keying the whole building when someone leaves.

  • 08 Structured cabling

In-room TVs, phones, and access points are wired to last, not patched together with extension cords and range extenders.

  • 09 Endpoint protection

Front-desk and back-office computers are watched around the clock for ransomware and intrusion attempts.

  • 10 Email security

Fake “guest reservation” or “vendor invoice” phishing emails get caught before staff click them.

  • 11 Backup & continuity

If your reservation system's computer fails, your booking records and guest history don't go with it.

  • 12 Monitoring & patching

Security patches for your network gear happen automatically, closing holes before they're found.

  • 13 Monthly security reporting

A plain-language monthly summary — what's covered, what happened — for you or your GM to review in five minutes.

  • 14 Training for your team

Front-desk and housekeeping staff learn to spot a phone or email scam targeting guest payment info.

  • 15 Project & install work

Renovations and new wings get their network planned before construction, not bolted on after.

  • 16 Travel / on-site service

On-site visits for properties outside Anchorage, for the work that can't be done remotely.

  • 17 Nonprofit rate

Nonprofit lodges or hostels get a standing discount on ongoing support.

  • 18 Co-managed IT

If you have an on-site IT person or vendor for your PMS software, we handle network and security alongside them.

  • 19 Financing

Multi-floor or multi-building projects can be financed, subject to approval.

Worth knowing

Four findings that shape how we build hospitality networks.

All linked to the original reports and federal guidance.

  • The systems your guests touch are the ones that need walling off.

In a 2025 survey of hotel IT and security leaders, guest-facing systems topped the risk list: payment/POS systems (72%), guest Wi-Fi (56%), and front-desk systems (34%).

  • Peak season is also the window attackers watch.

The same report found 82% of North American hotels were hit by a cyberattack in summer 2024, with more than half targeted five or more times in one season — your busiest revenue window is also your most exposed one.

  • “Guest Wi-Fi can't see your booking system” is a specific, documented fix.

CISA recommends that any guest network be kept completely separate from internal business systems, with no route between the two — that separation is exactly what we build into your property.

    Source: CISA segmentation guidance (PDF)
  • Federal small-business guidance says the same thing.

FTC small-business guidance on guest Wi-Fi is summarised the same way: put visitors on a network that has no path to the systems your staff use.

What this looks like in practice

Example hotel work

An 80-room, four-story hotel had its guest Wi-Fi, staff systems, payment systems, door access, and cameras planned as five separate networks from the start — with every guest room getting its own access point and 94 doors covered under one access-control system.

Common questions

Hotel and lodge questions, answered

  • Can guests on hotel Wi-Fi see our booking or payment systems?

Not when the network is built correctly. We put guest Wi-Fi on a completely separate network from front-desk, booking, and payment systems, which is what CISA recommends for any guest network.

  • Will guest rooms lose Wi-Fi during an upgrade?

No. Work is staged floor by floor so occupied rooms stay online throughout the project.

  • Can we change door access when an employee leaves?

Yes. With managed door access, a departing employee's credential can be turned off right away instead of waiting on rekeying.

  • Do you work outside Anchorage?

Yes. We travel on-site across Alaska for lodges and hotels, with travel quoted up front, and manage the network remotely between visits.
