About Solstice Technology
You should be able to call the person who built your network.
Owner-operated in Anchorage by Ivan Ramos. On-site across Alaska, with remote-managed homes in Mexico and Peru.
Most providers hand you a support number and hope you never use it. We built this the other way around: one person who knows your building, answers the phone, and explains things in words you actually use.

Why this exists
Nobody should have to explain their building to a stranger every time something breaks.
Solstice Technology started because too many Alaska businesses were getting the call-center treatment: a ticket number, a technician who’d never seen the place, and an invoice that raised more questions than it answered.
When you call us, you reach the person who planned your network, ran the cable, and knows which closet the equipment lives in. That means faster answers, fewer repeat visits, and no time spent re-explaining a problem you already described last month. It also means we have to be straight with you — there’s no support desk to hide behind.
We’d rather keep a client for ten years than sell one oversized system. If your setup is working fine, we will tell you that. If something can safely wait a year, we’ll say so and put it in the plan for next year instead.
How working with us actually goes
What the first month looks like.
No discovery-phase invoices, no surprise scope. Here’s the whole sequence.
You call or send one sentence.
“Wi-Fi drops on Friday nights” is plenty to start with. We reply personally, usually the same day.
We walk your building, free.
We look at what’s actually there, ask what’s been driving you crazy, and take notes you get a copy of.
You get a written plan with real numbers.
Itemised, in plain language, with anything that can safely wait clearly marked as optional. Financing available, subject to approval.
Install happens around your hours.
Scheduled around service, occupancy, or your workday — then labelled, documented, and handed over with a walkthrough.
Then it’s ongoing care, not silence.
Monitoring, patching, and a short monthly summary of what’s protected and what happened. No jargon.

Who we work with
The businesses we look after right now.
Every one of these is a working Alaska business that decided to stop worrying about its network. Restaurants from Anchorage to Homer, plus contractors, distributors, tour operators, property groups, and media agencies — most of them found us the same way, by asking someone who already had our number.
